Over the past year, the team at Rocktime have been working hard. We’ve expanded, won three awards, attended several events and further strengthened our position in the public sector. We’ve continued to diversify ourselves with a focus on bespoke web development and by adopting cloud-based software systems, we have broadened our SaaS products and set a focus on software development.
Our verso™ software has set the industry standard for licensing automation. The award-winning licence management system, currently powers over 50 local government licensing schemes. We’ve worked with many councils across the UK including Lincoln Council, Oxford City Council and the Royal Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. verso™ has processed over 100,000 applications and generated over £8M in licensing revenue.
Rocktime’s work with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council in the past year to deliver verso™, was awarded a gold Digital Impact Award in October 2018. The council also won two Geoplace awards for its use of LLPG with verso™. Including the:
- Highly Commended Exemplar Award for: Privately Rented Housing Licensing - Software Solution Housing Licensing Application
- Gold Performance Award for: Excellence in Management of Address Information
We moved forward on to G-Cloud 10 this year. Working with both central government agencies and local councils across the UK, Rocktime has been combining expertise and technology built around ISO: 9001(2015) / 27001(2017) for over 18 years.
We’ve continued to expand our ever-growing team and we welcomed six new members of the team this year, including our new Business Development Manager, Will; our new Marketing Assistant, Hannah; our new Web Developer, Josh; our new Front-end Developer, Jake and our new QA Software Tester, Matt.
With the Christmas season approaching, festivities have begun for the team. The team celebrated the end of the year with a Christmas dinner in Wimborne. A few members of the Rocktime team also took part in the Christchurch Christmas Pudding 10k race to raise money for Cancer Research.
The office will be taking a well-deserved break and will be closing for Christmas from the afternoon of Friday 21st December until 2nd January 2019. You can still get in touch if you need support.
We will be continuing to grow throughout 2019 and we're looking for new members to join our team.
With all the events of the past year, we just want to thank all our clients. We’re looking forward to continuing to support with your digital and software projects in 2019.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Rocktime!
