As one of our experienced New Business Managers, you will have a proven ability to hit or exceed revenue targets. Ideally, coming from a digital or software sales background, you will be responsible for creating revenue streams from new business acquisition supported by active marketing campaigns and strong tender bid writing. You will have a clear understanding of the challenges presented from all aspects of the sales process and value long-term customer success.
Purpose and objectives

Open dialogue with UK government (local and central) to develop direct opportunities for the sale of verso SaaS platform
- Improve tender bid writing for software contract opportunities
- Provide consultative-led ‘free thinking’ and creative approach to prospecting and opportunity development utilising the company’s disruptive technology to improving the management of data and engagement
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Tender bid writing for software contract opportunities as part of a win team
- Prospecting through identifying, qualifying and developing sales pipeline
- Assist in the development of robust sales strategies for sector growth
Deliver complex sales cycle articulating and demonstrating the value of our services at C-Level
- Develop market understanding of customer demands their pain points and opportunities for improvement aligned with company strategy
- Initial lead to explore opportunities for improvement with prospects for data-led solutions to complex business problems
- Provide competitive insight and thought leadership to shape internal strategy and prospect engagement
- Develop business case for change supported by technology innovation that delivers demonstrable returns both financially as well as real world time, workload and workflow benefits
- Explore partnership approaches that expand current avenues for business development with aligned suppliers to the public sector
Skills & Experience
A proven track record in closing public sector sales opportunities through RFI, pre quals, ITTs and tenders
Understanding of CCS Frameworks (Crown Commercial Services) as part of a developing a pipeline of opportunities
Experience engaging with C-Level and senior executive decision makers developing strong relationships
Ability to work in isolation and as part of a team to support problem solving and creative approach to new business acquisition
Motivation to working with an innovative and creative cloud data technology environment fostering positivity in exploring new applications for software, solutions and services
